Job Overview

Remote Therapist Job Description:

As a skilled Remote Therapist with Doctor on Demand, you'll have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive clinical team. You will provide virtual therapy sessions to patients in need of comprehensive mental health care, utilizing evidence-based interventions and treatment plans tailored to their individual needs. Our Clinical Operations team handles all aspects of billing, scheduling, and onboarding, allowing you to focus solely on delivering exceptional patient care and documentation.

With our state-of-the-art Telehealth platform, you'll be able to assess patients via video-based encounters, develop and implement effective treatment plans, and evaluate results to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments via video-based encounters

• Provide individualized virtual counseling and psychotherapy sessions

• Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans

• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate records of patient information and medical history

Required Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), or Counseling from an accredited program

• 3+ years of post-licensure experience in psychotherapy treatment

• Active, unrestricted licensure in Vermont and preferably multiple states

• Ability to practice independently without ongoing clinical supervision

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with diverse patient populations

• Knowledge of evidence-based psychosocial interventions

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and Telehealth platforms

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $X per visit hour. As an independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule and work at your own pace. We also provide ongoing support and training to help you succeed in your role.
