Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiographic equipment and related devices.
  • Gather comprehensive patient history and position patients, utilizing immobilization techniques when necessary, while clearly explaining procedures.
  • Determine appropriate exposure factors and assess images for diagnostic quality.
  • Assist Radiologists and healthcare professionals during invasive procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the examination process.
  • Implement radiation safety protocols and protective measures to comply with regulations.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and exposure, transmitting them to PACS.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Technical or Associate's degree in radiography. Registration or eligibility for registration with the ARRT is required. If registry eligible upon hire, candidates must obtain registration within one year of employment. An active BLS certification is also necessary.
