Job Title: Part-time Instructor, Veterinary Assistant

Join Tulsa Tech as a part-time instructor for our veterinary assistant program. We are seeking a qualified individual to teach and mentor adult students in a competency-based program curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach students in a veterinary assistant program using current instructional strategies and subject matter expertise.
  • Manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic progress, and grades.
  • Ensure syllabus, supply list, and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
  • Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills, and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician or technologist.
  • Graduate of a Veterinary Technician and/or Technologist Training Program.
  • Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technologist.
  • Familiarity with the duties of a veterinary assistant.
  • Experience teaching or mentoring adult students preferred.
Benefits:
  • Standard rate schedule for non-regular employees.
  • $35 per hour hiring range.
  • No benefits.
