Overview:

In collaboration with the Dining Room Manager, the Dining Service Attendant is responsible for providing courteous and professional meal service to all residents and their guests within the dining areas. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace while addressing food inquiries and resident concerns that may arise. Additionally, the attendant will assist in setting up, serving, and dismantling special events, playing a vital role in the community's public relations through direct customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Exhibit professionalism and a thorough understanding of the menu while serving customers.
  2. Complete pre-opening and closing tasks as directed by the Host/Hostess.
  3. Prepare dining tables and ensure workstations are orderly.
  4. Take and deliver food and beverage orders to residents and guests across all dining venues.
  5. Support the maintenance of exceptional customer service standards for residents and their guests.
  6. Clear tables during and after meal service to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
  7. Assist with dishwashing and the distribution of clean tableware as necessary.
  8. Uphold safe and sanitary conditions in all work areas.
  9. Adhere to personal hygiene and uniform standards set by the department.
  10. Complete all assigned cleaning duties before the end of the shift.
  11. Follow established Policies and Procedures for the Dining Services Department.
  12. Notify a supervisor of any customer-related concerns or issues.
  13. Participate in scheduled in-service training sessions.
