Job Title: Care Partner

Quail Park at Shannon Ranch is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partner to join our team. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Summary:

The Care Partner will assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and ambulation. You will also engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization, observe and report any changes in their physical, emotional, or mental condition, and complete necessary documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and ambulation.
  • Engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition.
  • Complete necessary documentation, including incident reports and written and computerized documentation.
  • Assist with resident mealtimes in the dining room and serve meals in accordance with proper serving technique.
  • Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings and assist with those activities as needed.
  • Maintain resident apartments, including making beds, emptying trash, and tidying up daily and as needed.
  • Notify the Housekeeping team of spills and soiled areas and assist with clean-up as needed.
Requirements:
  • CNA certification or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting.
  • Ability to take blood pressure, pulse, respiration, temperature, and O2 Sat or ability to learn.
  • Current CPR/First Aid credentials and ability to maintain them.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other team members.
  • Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
Working Conditions:

The Care Partner will work full-time or part-time as agreed upon, on assigned shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations. Salary is $16.25-$17.07 hourly.
