About the Role

  As a Registered Nurse (Vascular Surgery) on our C5 unit, you'll have the opportunity to work with patients who require telemetry monitoring due to vascular disease or other surgical conditions. Your duties will include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests.

  You'll also be responsible for documenting treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations, assessing and evaluating patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, and collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders and administer medications safely and effectively
  • Start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests as needed
  • Document treatment accurately and thoroughly
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care

  We're looking for candidates with a minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care. Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program in which a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree is conferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care
  • Possesses knowledge of quality concepts, principles, and problem-solving tools and techniques
