About the Role

We are seeking a full-time salaried 2nd Assistant Superintendent at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, where you will focus on spraying chemicals and assisting with various maintenance tasks. This role offers a competitive salary of $36,000 to $40,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent to ensure adherence to the annual golf course maintenance budget and capital plans.
  • Supervise and assist maintenance staff in their daily duties, promoting a culture of teamwork and efficiency.
  • Play a key role in planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance and construction of putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
  • Ensure all grounds and course maintenance equipment is properly maintained.
  • Oversee planting, fertilizing, and caring for turf, plants, shrubs, trees, and other facilities on the golf course.
  • Record all maintenance activities on the course, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget for the department and contribute to meeting budget goals.
  • Ensure the course remains in excellent playing condition.
  • Verify that all associates possess the necessary licenses to perform their tasks safely and within local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments regarding facility conditions, maintenance plans, and scheduled events.
  • Participate in snow removal efforts.
  • Promote safe work practices in job performance.
  • Regularly and reliably attend work shifts.
