PACU Staff Nurse II

Sutter Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled nursing professional for the role of Staff Nurse II in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Role Responsibilities:
The Staff Nurse II is responsible for the comprehensive assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes direct patient care, education for patients and their families, and facilitating transitions of care within an acute care environment. The nurse will provide holistic and personalized care to all patients within their designated area.
Care Plan Development:
The nurse will create, implement, and manage a care plan that considers various factors such as psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle influences. Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals is essential, ensuring effective communication at all times.
Compliance and Standards:
Adherence to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations is crucial to promote an optimal patient experience.
Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Licensure and Certification:
Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of acute care clinical experience in a PACU setting is required.
Additionally, 2 years of recent clinical experience as an RN in an Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is preferred.
Work Schedule:
This position is part-time with varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is between $76.54 and $103.58 per hour, with variations based on location and individual qualifications.
