Job Summary:
Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Surgical Telemetry Unit Lead to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical patient care and supervising staff to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and provided
- Support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- One year of telemetry experience preferred
- CCRN preferred
- A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
- American Heart Association BLS CPR required
- American Heart Association ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
