Job Summary

The Retail Associate will provide excellent customer service, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and implement the Company's mission and goals. This role involves working in an accurate and efficient manner to reduce waste, improve sales, and reduce expenses.

Responsibilities
  • Opening and closing the store
  • Maintaining a clean and organized retail environment
  • Greeting and assisting customers
  • Assisting with stock management, arranging merchandise on shelves and displays
  • Accurately performing the job functions of a retail cashier
  • Assisting in the visual presentation of the store as directed, including window displays, rack signing, sizing, and accessorizing
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Previous retail experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Read and write English proficiently or have enrolled in and are on track to successfully complete an approved ESL program
  • Computer literate and basic Math skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends; schedules may change based on business needs
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Able to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period
