Venice Suites is seeking a motivated Room Attendant to become a valuable member of our team. The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations and common areas, ensuring adherence to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both team members and guests.
  • Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by specific property protocols.
  • Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor while delivering personalized service to guests.
  • Effectively communicate with guests and fellow staff members to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Thoroughly clean guest rooms according to company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Complete cleaning tasks within the time guidelines set by management.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding room amenities and supplies.
  • Promptly report any items left behind in guest rooms to management.
  • Ensure the security of master room keys and return them at the end of each shift.
  • Report maintenance issues that require immediate attention.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
  • Notify the Executive Housekeeper of any lost or found items or damages.
  • Support other team members and departments to enhance overall departmental and hotel performance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Skills/Abilities:

Basic cleaning skills, effective communication in English, strong organizational and judgment skills, and reliability are essential.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk frequently, climb stairs, and perform repetitive motions such as bending, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. Exposure to cleaning agents is expected.
