LPN Resident

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Ochsner Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct care to patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality patient care.

• Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying their physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Develop and implement educational programs for patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care.

• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
