Maintenance Director Job Description

Claiborne Healthcare Center is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, appearance, and functionality of our buildings.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance of all facilities, including skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Inspect storage rooms, workrooms, and utility/janitorial closets to ensure upkeep and safety controls are in place.
  • Conduct regular safety committee meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Stay up-to-date with economic conditions and recommend adjustments to maintenance services to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of diverse construction or maintenance experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with HVAC certification a plus.
  • Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
  • Reliable source of transportation and valid driver's license.
