About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our Food Services Team at Aramark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bake and prepare food items, including bread, pastries, and other sweet and savory treats.
  • Set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
  • Measure, weigh, mix, and chop ingredients as needed.
  • Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, and other kitchen appliances.
  • Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives.
  • Properly store food items by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation.
  • Ensure the security of company assets.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a baker or in a related role is preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • Required to obtain food safety certification(s).
  • Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
