Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Educator Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing staff education and professional development activities that optimize patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and experience in clinical education, charge nurse, and/or RN preceptor roles. A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Collaborate with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present, and evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities
  • Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plans
  • Participate in professional development and lifelong learning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on education and professional development
  • No prior supervisor experience required
  • RN licensure and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification
  • PREFERRED: Master's Degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of experience in nursing, with a focus on education and professional development
