Position Overview:
The Clinical Assistant II plays a vital role within the BFS Clinical team.

This position involves supporting healthcare practitioners in executing various procedures and delivering essential patient care as required by our clients.

The Clinical Assistant II operates under the guidance of practitioners and is expected to perform additional tasks as directed by the Practice Site Supervisor.

Collaboration with team members is crucial to ensure a seamless office workflow, always prioritizing patient needs.

This role requires flexibility to float between different offices as staffing needs arise.


Dress Code:
Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of current CMA experience is required.
- CMA or RMA certification is mandatory and must be included in your profile.
- Proficiency in basic office skills is essential, with data entry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows-based PC applications is necessary.
- Experience in surgical scheduling and procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently while following directions is expected.
- Must demonstrate sensitivity to diverse cultures and community services.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, multifaceted environment is crucial.
- Strong telephone communication skills are required.
- Flexibility to cover for absences is essential.
- Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and collaboratively within a team framework are preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
- Willingness to travel to various office locations within Berkshire County is required.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information is necessary.
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English clearly is essential.

Submission Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is necessary.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
