Job Overview

About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist I will be responsible for preparing and dispensing drug orders, interpreting medication regimens, and providing clinical consultation to practitioners. You will also be involved in monitoring drug therapy regimens, detecting adverse reactions, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense drug orders accurately and efficiently
  • Interpret medication regimens and provide clinical consultation to practitioners
  • Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications, interactions, and appropriateness
  • Detect and report suspected adverse reactions
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, including data collection and analysis
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or BS Pharmacy degree required
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Pharmacy registration in the State of practice
  • Must have pharmacy State licensure within 60 days of start date
  • BLS or ACLS and PALS (pediatric practice) within 180 days of start date
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced hospital environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. The work schedule may vary, but as a full-time employee, you can expect to work a standard 40-hour week.

Salary and Benefits
