As a Staff Psychologist/Staff Counselor, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of counselors, psychologists, and social workers to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive services to our students. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to better understand the needs of our Hispanic-Latinx students and develop effective strategies to support their success.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group psychotherapy to students, with a focus on the Hispanic-Latinx community
- Develop and implement culturally competent outreach and prevention services
- Collaborate with campus partners to develop and provide training on diversity and inclusion
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide emergency after-hours coverage
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health services

Requirements- Master's degree in counseling or a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology
- Licensed or licensed eligible as a licensed professional counselor or licensed clinical psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Experience in providing focused therapeutic interventions with a multidisciplinary team
- Training and experience in delivering culturally competent interventions
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000-$75,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid leave, retirement, tuition assistance, and more.
