Middle School Girls Soccer Coach Position for Fall 2024-25

Job Summary

Ridgefield Academy is seeking a qualified Girls Soccer Coach to lead our Middle School team for the Fall 2024-25 season.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Organize and lead practices to enhance athletes' fundamental skills, form, and stamina.
  • Roster Management: Maintain accurate team records and rosters.
  • Mentorship: Foster sportsmanship and respect for the game among players.
  • Game Coaching: Coach games and motivate student-athletes in accordance with the school's athletic philosophy.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure awareness of safety conditions and adhere to the school's mission and coaching handbook.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director as needed.
Requirements
  • Coaching Experience: Must have prior experience coaching soccer.
  • Credentials: Must provide references and pass a background check.
  • Education: Must have a High School diploma or GED and be holding or pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Work Schedule

The coaching commitment is Monday through Thursday from 2:30-3:30 p.m., with games scheduled on those days at 3:45 p.m., averaging once a week. There are no weekend commitments.

Compensation

This is a stipend position based on experience, with a compensation range of $2000-$3000 for the season.
