Position Overview

The Luxury Goods Cost Estimation Specialist plays a crucial role in receiving, accurately registering, and generating cost estimates for high-end watches, jewelry, and premium accessories undergoing repairs. This position reports directly to the Administration Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Register incoming products for service in SAP, adhering to established business procedures by Maison and customer type.
  2. Input customer requests and assess product conditions based on aesthetic evaluations.
  3. Utilize Automated Imaging Machines (AIM) to photograph incoming products.
  4. Collaborate with technical staff to create customer cost estimates based on product diagnostics.
  5. Work closely with the diagnostic team to ensure customer requests are met and accurately reflected in the cost estimates.
  6. Apply relevant Maison policies and procedures when formulating cost estimates.
  7. Ensure that cost estimates align with customer requests, providing explanations for any discrepancies in proposed services or spare parts.
  8. Maintain accuracy in data entry for all cost estimates.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of watchmaking is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • Strong team spirit, decision-making abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential.
