Clinical Nurse III: Orthopedic and Spinal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Orthopedics & Spine Unit-M2 at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, start IVs, perform treatments, procedures, and special tests, and document treatment as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
- Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
- Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for delivering exceptional service. You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
