Job Summary:

The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing and developing ETL solutions to support the enterprise data model. This includes working with IT and business teams to design and maintain the data model, supporting enterprise data strategy, and designing and implementing changes to existing data models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL development, dimensional modeling, and ETL data integration tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop ETL solutions to support the enterprise data model
  • Work with IT and business teams to design and maintain the data model
  • Support enterprise data strategy
  • Design and implement changes to existing data models
  • Develop Universe/Metadata and reports as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering
  • Minimum three years of Business Intelligence in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum four years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions for large applications spanning across multiple business functions
  • Strong SQL Development Experience and Dimensional Modeling applying Star Schema and BI methodology
  • Experience with one or more ETL data integration tools (SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, Data Services, Data Virtualization, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of project management software such as MS Project, Access, and other project management tools
  • Excellent analytic and documentation skills
  • Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure

Working Conditions:
  • Works in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • May be required to work extended hours to meet project deadlines

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering

Experience:
  • Minimum three years of Business Intelligence in a healthcare setting
  • Minimum four years of experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions for large applications spanning across multiple business functions

Skills:
  • Strong SQL Development Experience and Dimensional Modeling applying Star Schema and BI methodology
  • Experience with one or more ETL data integration tools (SSIS, Pentaho, Informatica, Data Services, Data Virtualization, etc.)

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to distinguish colors as necessary
  • Hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace
  • See adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position
