Award-winning healthcare organization, Avera Comprehensive Weight Management Clinic, is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant (MA) to join its multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will perform essential medical and clerical duties while contributing to a positive work environment.

Competitive Compensation Package

The hourly range for this position is $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, with the actual hourly rate dependent on experience.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for assisting in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing selected medical assistant and clerical duties.
  • Working collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possessing the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Graduated from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
