About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metal fabricating machines, including brake presses, turret machines, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for someone with knowledge in basic setup and operation of metal fabricating machines to cut, bend, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes according to blueprints and specifications.
  • You will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, sequence of operations, and material requirements.
  • You will work closely with other departments, shifts, and management to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • You will be required to communicate regularly and effectively with co-workers, utilities, coordinators, and management to report problems with safety, quality, processes, equipment, materials, and/or questionable conditions.
  • You will be expected to perform operator preventative maintenance of equipment and collect and understand production data corresponding to the machinery.

Compensation Package: We offer an estimated annual salary of $65,000 to $75,000 based on your skills and experience. You will also receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
