About the Role

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a highly skilled Sr Power Platform Developer to join our Digital Delivery Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Microsoft Cloud applications that support various business lines with local and national scope.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions built in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement new features, modules, or application components that integrate with SharePoint, Azure, and Power Platform.
  • Develop flows and automation with Power Automate to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Design and develop easy-to-use interfaces and forms in Power Apps to drive business processes.
  • Develop rich and compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Create process, technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation.
  • Support the design of Power Platform roadmaps and create estimations on effort required to develop Power Platform-based solutions.
  • Remediate defects, implement enhancements, and work with customers to resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically requires five or more years of experience working with Power Platform solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience building apps with Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Experience in Office 365 and Azure integrations.
  • Understanding of Agile software testing processes and lifecycles.
  • Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Able to work independently gathering requirements and converting them into applications.
  • Experience in supporting critical applications in production.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of design patterns and frameworks.
  • Familiar with software security principles and defensive coding best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically and independently.
  • Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
  • Experience translating design mockups and prototypes into working application designs.
  • Proven passion for user experience design and improving usability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft certification in Power Platform (PL-900, PL-600, PL-400).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Working knowledge with Git repositories and automated deployments.
  • Experience with UiPath and/or other RPA tools.
