**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Attendant to join our team at Kings Dominion. As a Front Desk Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our visitors.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Reservations Management: Operate the reservations system by making reservations via phone or in person, checking guests in and out, taking in deposits and other payments.
- Site Familiarization: Become familiar with site types and the amenities we offer to guests.
- Communication Skills: Be proficient with basic phone, computer, paperwork filing, and communication skills.
- Reservation Monitoring: Proactively monitor reservations to honor guest requests.
- System Updates: Stay up-to-date on K2 updates as it pertains to daily operations.
- Mathematical Skills: Perform basic addition and subtraction.
- Situation Resolution: Possess basic situation resolution skills.
- Guest Service: Greet and assist guests with their reservation needs.
- Physical Demands: Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other minor to moderate tasks as assigned by a supervisor.
**Requirements:**
- Availability: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Credentials: Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
- Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license.
