Mathematics Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our Mathematics department as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate mathematics courses, including modern algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, and number theory.
Responsibilities- Teach 6 courses per year, including introductory and advanced mathematics courses
- Maintain an active and productive research program that engages undergraduate students
- Participate in institutional service to the college, including committee work and advising
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics department's curriculum and programs
- Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field
- Experience teaching mathematics at the undergraduate level
- Commitment to deepening intercultural competence on campus through culturally responsive pedagogy
- Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
- Strong research record, including publications and presentations
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds
