About the Role

We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher at Troon Golf. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our dishroom.

Responsibilities
  • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and cooking utensils, and load them into the dish machine for cleaning.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Change the dishwater in the dish machine every hour to maintain optimal cleaning performance.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand, using a gentle touch to prevent damage.
  • Remove trash and garbage from the dishroom and dispose of it in the designated dumpster.
  • Set up or break down the dishwashing area as needed, ensuring it remains clean and organized.
  • Clean and roll/unroll mats to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions to ensure effective cleaning.
  • Sweep/mop floors to prevent slips and falls.
  • Sweep up trash around the exterior of the restaurant and garbage dumpster.
  • Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed by management.
  • Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry and free of hazards.
  • Comply with all Department of Health regulations to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.
