School Psychologist Position Overview

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students, teachers, and families in the Jerome School District. As a school psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with students at designated times and locations to assess their needs and develop strategies for success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide counseling and therapy services to students as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and behavior.
  • Participate in curriculum development and instructional planning to ensure that all students have access to high-quality educational opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field, as well as a valid Idaho Certificate with School Psychologist endorsement. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
