Job Summary

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced Technical Assembly / Material Handler to join our team in Greenville, SC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products with precision, ensuring high-quality finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machines efficiently to ensure a high-quality finished product
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Be familiar with each machine and be prepared for alterations in running characteristics before a major breakdown occurs
  • Use gauges to verify part height accuracy
  • Ensure that parts are feeding into the machines correctly
  • Keep areas clean and safe
  • Operate scanners to track production
  • Load hoppers and reels with materials
  • Label and stack finished production on skids
  • Complete product run changeovers
  • Verify specifications of parts being assembled
  • Check and set part counters

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • General mathematical aptitude
  • Ability to match numbers accurately
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Maintaining concentration while working in a noisy environment
  • Read and understand written instructions and follow oral instructions
