Our Comprehensive Pain Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a comprehensive range of services, including pain management, physical therapy, and behavioral health.
As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, develop and implement treatment plans, and educate patients and families on pain management and self-care strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treating and managing patients with chronic pain, using evidence-based practices and guidelines.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with the patient's primary care physician and other healthcare professionals.
- Providing education and support to patients and families on pain management, self-care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Documenting patient information accurately and thoroughly, in accordance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using clear and respectful language.
Requirements:
- PA-C licensure in Washington or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Physician Assistant certification through NCCPA or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Current WA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
- 3+ years clinical experience in pain management or a related field.
- Intermediate level computer proficiency, with experience using electronic medical records (EMRs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary pain management team.
- Knowledge of opioid and non-opioid medication management, as well as alternative pain management strategies.
