Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Deli Associate to join our team at Family Fare. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and producing deli products, packaging and labeling them according to program plans, and merchandising deli products to meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and produce deli products to meet production planner requirements
  • Package and label deli products according to program plans
  • Merchandise deli products to meet customer expectations
  • Stock backroom with deli products, rotating and dating cases and buckets
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve growth in our retail stores
  • Notify the deli manager if products and supplies need to be ordered
  • Understand basic mathematical functions and communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and measures to other associates
  • Follow all PPE and safety guidelines, food safety and cleaning expectations, and guest experience guidelines

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of retail or related experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Detail-oriented
