Job Title: Fiber Characterization Lead Technician

At Bold Business, we are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Characterization Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fiber optics and cable technology, with a strong background in laboratory and field-testing methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage fiber cable characterization projects, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Develop and refine testing methods to evaluate the performance and reliability of fiber optic cables.
  • Coordinate laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Analyze test data and present findings to stakeholders, offering insights for product improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to establish specifications and performance benchmarks.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians on fiber cable testing techniques and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in fiber optics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Extensive experience in fiber optic technology and cable characterization methods.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
