Job Summary:

The ICU Nurse Specialist will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those requiring life-sustaining therapies and interventions. This role requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and other treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Monitor and maintain life-sustaining therapies, such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
