Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care, aligning with hospital policies and procedures.
- Apply deep knowledge of pathophysiology and nursing techniques to drive improvements in patient care.
- Stay composed and decisive during emergencies, swiftly implementing appropriate nursing interventions to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessment findings and care plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness at every step.
- Empower patients and their families through effective education, continually assessing their needs and understanding to promote optimal wellness.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program required.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Iowa required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Mandatory Reporter Certificate (Dependent Adult and Child Abuse) within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 60 days of employment.
