Spa Front Desk Associate Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Spa Front Desk Associate to join our team at Worldgate Athletic Club & Spa. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
Responsibilities:- Ensure the "Arch Amenities Group Experience" for members and guests by maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures, as well as Arch Amenities Group standards and expectations.
- Report any incidents or accidents to the Facility Manager.
- Submit all paperwork and financial reporting in accordance with Arch Amenities Group policy.
- Develop and maintain accurate department maintenance procedures and checklists.
- Maintain a monthly inventory of supplies and products.
- Become knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities to effectively communicate with members and guests.
- Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) schedule, if applicable.
- Ensure facility safety and security at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting guests with a smile and direct eye contact.
- Go the extra mile for members and guests by offering to make reservations, find directions, and provide other assistance.
- Use time efficiently throughout the shift by checking equipment, locker rooms, and inventory.
- Keep the area clear of clutter and personal effects.
- Inform co-workers of pertinent information at the end of the shift.
- Inform the Facility Manager of any member, guest, or facility issues.
- Enroll members and guests in programs and make reservations for spa services and personal training, when applicable.
- Receive payments for goods and services and properly account for the money.
- Assist staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products.
- High School diploma, but a college degree is preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Previous experience handling money.
- Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic.
- Efficient, well-organized, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
- Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
- Strong team player.
- Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Availability to stand for long periods of time.
