Registered Nurse - RN Job Description

At Windward Gardens Center in Camden, ME, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - RN to join our clinical team. As a Registered Nurse - RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop effective plans of care in collaboration with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks and interventions are implemented effectively.
  • Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Qualifications:

Requirements include a graduate degree in nursing from an approved school and current licensure by the State Board of Nursing. CPR certification is also required. One to three years of experience working as a RN in a related setting is preferred.
