About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Gunsmith to join our team at Blackstone Shooting Sports in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent and timely gunsmith services to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize rental firearm cleaning and maintenance logs
  • Perform routine rental firearm cleaning and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair rental firearms
  • Coordinate the replacement of rental firearms
  • Perform routine AM cleaning of the range

You will also be responsible for meeting with guests to discuss gunsmithing services, responding to inquiries, and providing quotes for repair times. Additionally, you will assist with firearm malfunctions on the range and demonstrate proficiency with a wide range of gunsmithing/armor services.

Requirements
  • Legally able to possess a firearm
  • Strong knowledge of firearm accessories
  • Ability to perform function-checks and test-fires after maintenance/repairs
  • Gunsmith degree
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various firearm brands, generations, and platforms
