About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Director to join our team at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., (ABCD). This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing the company's benefits administration, compensation programs, and HRIS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the management of benefits administration for all ABCD benefit plans, ensuring timely education, enrollment, and updates to staff.
  • Compensation Programs: Develop and maintain accurate rates and materials in the Employee Self-Service portal and benefits staff page to assist employees in making informed benefits decisions.
  • HRIS Management: Ensure the timely and accurate collection and sharing of data both internally and with benefit vendors.
  • Data Quality: Establish regular file feeds between ABCD's HRIS and insurance vendors, and periodically audit the quality of the data transmitted.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and additional courses towards a certification or degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Three to five years of progressive responsibilities within a Human Resources department.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in Human Resources, including Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS.
  • Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and legal issues.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
