Compensation and Benefits Director

We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Director to join our team at Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., (ABCD). This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing the company's benefits administration, compensation programs, and HRIS.
Key Responsibilities- Benefits Administration: Oversee the management of benefits administration for all ABCD benefit plans, ensuring timely education, enrollment, and updates to staff.
- Compensation Programs: Develop and maintain accurate rates and materials in the Employee Self-Service portal and benefits staff page to assist employees in making informed benefits decisions.
- HRIS Management: Ensure the timely and accurate collection and sharing of data both internally and with benefit vendors.
- Data Quality: Establish regular file feeds between ABCD's HRIS and insurance vendors, and periodically audit the quality of the data transmitted.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and additional courses towards a certification or degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, or related field.
- Three to five years of progressive responsibilities within a Human Resources department.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability in Human Resources, including Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS.
- Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and legal issues.
Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., (ABCD) is a nonprofit human services organization that provides resources to low-income residents in the Greater Boston region. We use a comprehensive approach to address the barriers faced by households in poverty, from day-to-day crises to long-term needs for jobs and education.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. The benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
