Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Christian Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification and ARRT Advanced certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • 2 years of experience in radiology or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a travel/contract position in Radiology/Cardiology at BJC HealthCare. The position requires Siemens scanner experience due to varying inpatient/ED caseload. The clinician may be required to work full/partial shift alone infrequently. Guaranteed hours are 36 hours per week for 3-12s, 48 hours per week for 4-12s, and 40 hours per week for all other shifts.
