Medical Triage Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Triage Specialist to join our team at Samuel Contract Staffing in West Lafayette, IN. This is a unique opportunity for a medical professional to conduct initial triage and health assessments of potential blood donors.
Job OverviewThis role involves conducting thorough evaluations to determine the suitability of donors for plasma donation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate donor eligibility by checking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and performing finger sticks as needed.
- Review donor lab results to ensure safety and suitability for plasma donation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and provide clear answers to donor questions regarding the donation process.
- A valid medical license is required for this position.
- CPR or BLS certification is also necessary.
