In the role of Fixed Income Portfolio Analysis Analyst, you will be part of a dedicated team that specializes in the construction and evaluation of fixed income portfolios. Your responsibilities will include the continuous monitoring of portfolio risk indicators through the generation of detailed reports and the analysis of various model scenarios. You will also be tasked with generating orders that reflect investment strategies, conducting pre-trade portfolio assessments, and collaborating closely with investment professionals and traders to track real-time activities in the fixed income market.

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; CFA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of fixed income instruments, investment vehicles, and market dynamics.
  • Experience in portfolio construction is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg is expected; familiarity with VBA, Aladdin, and Python is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and maintain a keen attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and sustain meaningful relationships; a collaborative spirit with refined communication skills to engage diverse personalities.
  • Exemplary judgment and a structured approach to managing competing priorities and deadlines, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining composure.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, with eligibility for an individual annual performance bonus and a share in Capital's annual profitability bonus, along with a retirement plan that contributes 15% of eligible earnings.

*Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are not included in the aforementioned compensation and benefits.
