Job Title:

Reclaim Operator

Job Summary:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to safely and efficiently operate production lines, maintain high-quality standards, and minimize waste. As a Reclaim Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating production lines, conducting quality checks, and performing minor maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate production lines to meet or exceed production rates and quality standards
  • Conduct quality checks, including length/weight checks, vacuum tests, and micrometer checks
  • Minimize waste and maximize the return of scrap and reproduction into the machine
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, including cleaning air filters, TPMs, and PMs
  • Assist Coex operator in feeding the Coex grinder
  • Ensure compliance with safety and work regulations, including the use of required PPE
Requirements:
  • Prior manufacturing or similar experience required
  • Mechanical aptitude required
  • Good mathematical skills required
  • Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others
  • Knowledgeable about safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environments
Work Environment:

This is a non-airconditioned, indoor environment with potential heat, humidity, and noise levels exceeding 90 degrees Fahrenheit, 80% humidity, and 85dB+ noise.

Physical Characteristics:

This role requires frequent standing, up to 12 hours, walking, stooping, squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive use of shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers.
