Manufacturing Operations Supervisor

W2 Contract

Salary Range: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

Location: Onsite Role

Job Overview:

This primarily office-based role involves overseeing an email inbox dedicated to internal customer requests for supplies and products requiring assessment. Following inventory checks, you will place holds on items using SAP and document them in our Smartsheet log.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work orders received from the Customer Service team; facilitate order fulfillment by receiving, entering, and processing any modifications to orders.
  • Oversee the email inbox for internal customer requests for supplies and products.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure adherence to product delivery schedules; monitor requested volumes to prevent over-selling of materials.
  • Serve as a liaison between Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Shipping teams with Customer Service/Commercial; coordinate activities and material availability to meet commercial commitments punctually.
  • Conduct routine sampling and analysis of inventories, including control samples.
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain samples and supplies, managing associated vendors (including maintaining analytical data and necessary statistical records).
  • Ensure all required materials are accessible and ready for timely delivery of products according to customer needs and agreed shipping timelines.
  • Engage with vendors and other teams, such as Manufacturing, Shipping, and Quality Assurance, to ensure all activities align with the established schedule.
  • Work alongside the Quality department to confirm that all test results and documentation have been received.
  • Schedule, process, and track materials requiring Gamma Irradiation.
  • Assist with orders and operational activities for other business lines as necessary.
  • Support the development of manufacturing outlines for other business lines as needed.
  • Maintain necessary documentation on file.
  • Send samples to third-party laboratories when required and provide essential information to the in-house laboratory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, ERP systems (SAP), Adobe, and Smartsheet.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, Adobe, Smartsheet, and customer service.
