Job Summary:

The Reserve Deputy Constable Pct 2 will work under the direction of the Division Supervisor to protect life and property, enforce federal and state laws, and provide assistance to local municipalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Patrol rural areas to maintain law and order
  • Enforce federal and state laws
  • Assist local municipalities as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality agreements with the department and its records
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Peace Officer Certification by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and precisely
  • No prior court conviction on felonies or misdemeanor offenses
