Job Title: Wellness LPN

Perdue Foods is a leading provider of premium proteins, committed to innovation and growth. As a Wellness LPN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medical care to associates, including first aid treatment and referrals to healthcare facilities as needed.
  • Document information and enter data into HR/Payroll and OHM systems.
  • Perform physical assessments, review medical history, and complete necessary forms.
  • Assist with medical cost management, including early intervention and follow-up care.
  • Support wellness programs, drug screens, and TB skin testing.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an approved practical nursing program or college program.
  • Current LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Current certification in CPR.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy skills.
Work Environment:

The position is mostly sedentary, but may require occasional movement to other offices or buildings. You may need to move light equipment or supplies, and access files, supplies, and equipment. The majority of work activity is in an office or clinical environment.

When in a plant environment, you may be exposed to wet and moist floors, temperatures between 28 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and noise levels between 50 and 110 decibels.

You must wear and use protective and safety equipment as directed by the Company.
