Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's. As a Registered Nurse on our Med Surg Telemetry Unit, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that each patient receives individualized attention and care.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Wisconsin or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a Med Surg Telemetry environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
