Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and computer systems for accurate assessments
  • Maintaining and repairing heating and air conditioning systems
  • Working on steering and suspension components
  • Inspecting and replacing belts and hoses
  • Managing radiator and engine cooling systems
  • Handling battery, starting, and charging systems
  • Executing brake repairs and maintenance
  • Diagnosing check engine light issues
  • Providing exhaust system services
  • Conducting visual safety inspections and courtesy checks

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • State Mechanic Certifications; ASE certifications are advantageous
  • Experience as a lead technician in a collaborative environment
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
  • A proven track record of high productivity
  • Understanding of safety and environmental standards in repair settings
  • Proficiency with shop equipment such as lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools
  • Capability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
  • A valid driver's license
