We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL A driver to join our team at Sharps Medical Waste Services. As a Swing Driver, you will be responsible for delivering excellent service to internal and external customers while representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver waste and supplies to assigned accounts in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate a straight truck, roll off, and tractor trailer in compliance with DOT and state regulations
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to the Transportation Supervisor or Dispatcher
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles
- Assist with yard trailer movement and roll off support as needed
- 25 years or older with driving experience
- CDL A required
- Clean MVR
- Completion of an accredited driving school or one or more years of Commercial Driving experience
- Maintains current Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC)
- Must be flexible and able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency utilizing technology, including GPS and handheld devices
- High school diploma or equivalent
