Laborer Sorter

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Laborer Sorter to join our team. As a Laborer Sorter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of recyclable materials by sorting and separating materials from the recycling stream.

• Sort and separate recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials
• Inspect materials for contamination and remove any unacceptable materials
• Operate equipment and machinery to sort and process materials
• Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety
• Meet productivity and quality standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and safety
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

• Exposure to residential and commercial waste
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
